In the last episode, we left off where Yunge and Ling Ge Ge promises to meet each other in the City of Chang An before breaking apart and heading to their separate destination. Yunge then meets up with her brother at the marketplace. She sees a boy getting beaten up for stealing and asks his brother to help him out, but her brother only extended out the helping hand only after hearing that Yunge would cook a meal for him. So after reading an article saying that netizens are complaining about the ugly male leads, I decided to take a look. Honestly, it was very difficult to keep waiting for the episodes to come out since I was used to chinese dramas being released daily. So I decided to watch the episodes that are already out and if I hated it, I would stop thinking about it. I went into this drama with poor expectations because it didn’t make the top 10 drama ranking however I am now on episode six and I am sadly proclaiming that I am addicted. (FYI Hu Ge’s drama The Disguiser ranked number 1) I am writing the first episode recap of Yunge From the Desert because I can’t get this drama out of my head. Continue reading

I am mostly a drama watcher and tend to stray away from movies however, there are lots of movies that I have been keeping an eye on that’s hitting the theaters soon. So let’s check them out.
The highly anticipated movie “You Are My Sunshine” moves up its released date by a day to April 30. I don’t know what difference that would make but they better released the movie soon because I am getting bored out with their lackluster MVs.
It’s funny because I loved all their posters that has been released thus far and their posters have been attracting me to watch the movie but their MV seem to be having the opposite effect on me.
Check out their newly released character posters Continue reading
“You Are My Sunshine” movie version continues to tease us as they release the MV of the theme song that is sung by Huang Xiao Ming. We get to see glimpses of the movie in the mv. Continue reading
Or at least what I plan to watch. I have been converted into an avid korean drama fan ever since I was introduced to it from my college buddies. However the past february and march, I felt like there was nothing to watch and started venturing into chinese dramas that seemed quite interesting. Have I been missing out in chinese dramas or did it just recently become popular because I was addicted to chinese drama more than ever before. What’s even better is that chinese dramas release about 1-2 episodes each day so you don’t have to wait what seems like forever for a new episode to be release. Continue reading
